Dr. P. J. Onyango, MBChB(UoN), MMed(Wits), FCOG(SA)

Dr. P.J. Onyango is a seasoned Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist providing specialist reproductive health services for both young and post-menopausal women. He started his career as a medical doctor in the public sector in Kenya in 2006. He completed his Twelve (12) month internship at the busy Coast General Teaching & Referral Hospital, in Mombasa, Kenya. For a year he also served in a remote rural setting at the Kinango Sub- County Hospital, followed by Two (2) years at a busy private hospital in Mombasa. Thereafter he proceeded to South Africa for a specialist Fellowship and Masters in Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Colleges of Medicine South Africa and University of the Witwatersrand. During this period he obtained intense training at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Rahima Moosa Mother and Child Hospital and other surrounding hospitals in Johannesburg.

He successfully completed his 4 year specialization and became a fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2015. In 2016 he also obtained a Masters degree at the University of the Witwatersrand.
